Evolve* (ring/pendants)

This is what happens when you're an insomniac and it's 3am and you have access to studio tools.

The name- Evolve*- refers to both the visual evolution of the pieces and to the development of a concept.

The pieces technically begin with the circle, and then 'evolve' from there. In the spirit of this endeavour I wanted them to somehow seem alive, which is why, if you squint your eyes a bit, you could imagine tails, legs, beaks... and stuff. A Tim Burton wacky wonderland of semi-animate shapes.

It's occured to me over the years that being useful is good. I really like well designed, functional things. What I like even more are things that perform multiple functions. This makes me positively giddy. (like when I was a kid I thought that the Swiss army knife was the coolest thing ever).

So I made rings.

That are actually pendants.

Or work together to create a multi-part necklace.

So cool.

You've probably noticed that all of these pieces have a bunch of holes. This is so they can be chained in a variety of positions. Just to keep life interesting.

Should you wish to own one (or many) of these, they are available in sizes 4 to 10. I can go bigger, but it would have to be made by hand and might cost a little extra, and take a little longer.
